Who is the Most Dominant Athlete?
There are many athletes in today's world of sports. Very few stand out as the most dominant in their field of choice. In my consideration of who is currently the most dominant athlete, I chose those that easily stand out in their sports. It was very hard to choose because there are so many great ones. I've featured a few, and I will tell you who I think is most dominant.
NHL Dynasties
As we all know, the offseason can be a bit slow, especially during the dog days of August. So to help pass the time, I was going to highlight some of (in my humble opinion) all time best dynasty's in the modern NHL. I define the modern NHL as post 1967 ERA of hockey. Also there have been no new dynasty's in the 2000's because the last time a team repeated in the NHL was in 1997-1998. That team was the Detroit Red Wings.

I have been a fan of the NHL since 1979 and even though there have been some drastic changes since the 2004-2005 lockout, I still enjoy the game very much so.

In front of 20,000 fans at Giants Stadium, the Republic of Ireland and Ecuador played to an entertaining and closely contested 1-1 draw. Ireland played the first of a two game tour in the US. The Irish brought a youthful squad, with nine uncapped players on the squad, and seven of these getting their first minutes for the Boys in Green.
Champions Leagues: The Semis
Semifinals, finished. The stage for the final is set. Liverpool and Milan will meet on May 23rd in Athens at the Olympic Stadium.

Every year, the top European teams battle to rightfully obtain the tile of ‘Champions of Europe.’ The Champions League is a tournament in which teams all over Europe qualify for by placing within the top two, three, or four of their domestic league, depending on which country they are located.

The always entertaining Arena Football league returns after its offseason on March 4th. The AFL is definitely growing in fan support, and has carved out a legitimate business.
English Premier League
The EPL, or English Premier League to non-soccer fans, is ending its season soon and a lot of things are still up in the air.
PLAYER WATCH:
With David Beckham making his way to the LA Galaxy, the pressure is on him to energize both his team and his sport. Beckham singed with the Galaxy for $250 million including endorsements, and hopes to team up with US star Landon Donovan to bring the Galaxy back into playoff contention in the Western Conference.
