Who is the Most Dominant Athlete?

There are many athletes in today's world of sports. Very few stand out as the most dominant in their field of choice. In my consideration of who is currently the most dominant athlete, I chose those that easily stand out in their sports. It was very hard to choose because there are so many great ones. I've featured a few, and I will tell you who I think is most dominant.
NHL Dynasties

As we all know, the offseason can be a bit slow, especially during the dog days of August. So to help pass the time, I was going to highlight some of (in my humble opinion) all time best dynasty's in the modern NHL. I define the modern NHL as post 1967 ERA of hockey. Also there have been no new dynasty's in the 2000's because the last time a team repeated in the NHL was in 1997-1998. That team was the Detroit Red Wings.
NHL: Improved Teams

I have been a fan of the NHL since 1979 and even though there have been some drastic changes since the 2004-2005 lockout, I still enjoy the game very much so.
Celtic Vs. MLS: Running Diary

Coming to you live from the McCarten basement, it’s a running diary of the 2007 MLS All-Star game. Celtic FC take on the best of the MLS. First of all, this is completely retarded. Why can’t they just have an East vs. West match up? If they win, it doesn’t matter because they are an all star team playing against a squad in their preseason.

Michelle Wie: Could You Please Win One?

After watching Michelle Wie wimp out of another tournament, I feel that something must be said. For anyone who has been missing the story over the past few years, Wie has been trying to play in the PGA. It would be an amazing story to see a female make it into the PGA, but to be honest, Wie, her overbearing parents, and Nike are looking too far into the future.
The End of an Era: Henry Transfers

Arsenal and France superstar Thierry Henry made the biggest move so far this summer by transferring from Arsenal to FC Barcelona for the equivalent of $32 million.
NASCAR: American Invention or Hobby?

NASCAR: it’s a word that evokes laughs from some and heated discussions about who will win the chase from others. Fifteen years ago, the average American fan considered NASCAR as amusement for rednecks and trailer park dwellers, and many questioned the classification of a sport where making left turns for about 400 miles is the normal event. But NASCAR now reports on it’s website that it has the second highest TV ratings for a sport in America, trailing only the untouchable NFL.
The State of MLS

Major League Soccer: it’s a phrase that often evokes laughs from European soccer fans and indifference in Americans. But this year, a new franchise, higher attendance figures and the creation of the “Designated Player” Rule seem to have energized the league.
Champions League: Final

Disappointment. Displeasure. Dissatisfaction. Frustration. All feelings that were passing through my mind as the UEFA Champions League Final of ’07 came to an end. Call me biased, but I believe that Liverpool was cheated this past Wednesday. Congratulations to AC Milan for becoming the Champions of Europe, but I'm not sure they deserve it. You will understand why in a minute…

In front of 20,000 fans at Giants Stadium, the Republic of Ireland and Ecuador played to an entertaining and closely contested 1-1 draw. Ireland played the first of a two game tour in the US. The Irish brought a youthful squad, with nine uncapped players on the squad, and seven of these getting their first minutes for the Boys in Green.

Mayweather-De La Hoya

Wow. It’s been quite a looooong time since a boxing match has been this big. And frankly, I’ve missed it. I miss going over a bud’s house with the guys and watching a great Friday night 12 rounder. Gone are the days when boxing gripped America as football and basketball now do.
FA Cup Preview

The FA Cup Final on May 19th is a dream matchup. 1st place Manchester United will take on 2nd place Chelsea at Wembley Stadium for the trophy.
